Now u r going to see sick people. They say 2700 houses are being foreclosed on each day in the USA yet no one was in a panic till the fatcats start losing their money.
What's wrong with that picture ? It just shows why the world couldn`t stay in the position it was in..The rich getting richer and the the poor remaining poor, can`t work . So Obama says spread the wealth, why is there such resistance to that ?
Canada seems to be doing very well as a country with "socialised" health care and welfare benefits all these years. Any body who migrates to Canada the only reason they come back home to Jamaica is because of the weather nothing else and most stay there through old age as their health services are so good.
Why do we refuse to share the wealth? It was so nice to see this feature on 60 minutes yesterday of the man who invented voicemail investing in Mozambique and sharing the wealth . The life expectancy over there is 40 years. Expected to drop to 35 next year. Well this man of course i forgot his name, is taking his money and transforming this place,he says it costs $100,000 to build a school and $200,000 to build a clinic and he is building 25. Of course he is like a God over there, and he says nothing in his life has ever been more rewarding.
Isn`t that what money is for ?

Larry David`s commentary this week is so funny but so true as i think all of us OBAMA-ITES are having 'tisic'(Jamaican phrase) right now. In other words we are all having nerve attacks as it gets down to the wire.
I am with Larry, may he lose for a good reason and not because it was stolen....I think the people suspect that and that's why everywhere is having record voting......trust me i`ve been telling u for months IT'S GOING TO BE A LANDSLIDE! I have decided to be like Larry David and be selective in my reading as everyday there is another story of vote-stealing.
Then on the other side Palin must be saying to herself 'EVERYWHERE I WALK MACCA JOOK ME' Jamaican again for everything she does she gets in trouble, but she is a walking bag of trouble so she can`t help herself.......
I thought she had money when i saw her dressed to the nines, didn`t know the Republican party was dressing her. Ah well if she never looked good we would still be taking her on even worse, better she goes down looking good because i know right now McCain is ruing the day he came up with that 'mavericky' idea (to quote Tina Fey) and chose her.
He just needs to go to one of his luxurious homes and rest in peace......These are serious times we need a level head. Only a calm person can stand up in a storm.
Well as i fight to stay in the now all kinds of things are causing me much distraction e.g. a lady who checked into the hotel today proudly told me she voted before she came so i said great ,she said "yes but i didn`t vote for Obama" so i asked why and she said he reminds her too much of Michael Manley...'too much charisma and no substance'....HELP ME FATHER...All i have to say is I hope people like this are in the minority............

Then can u imagine if we weren`t focused on the election, we would have known that Madge (MADONNA) and Guy (RITCHIE) are getting a divorce.....Wow, who cares?
America does..........They are predicting that this story alone will prevent the tabloids from declaring bankruptcy !
Now we know why America is in the trouble it is.
On the other side of the fence 'E' network has the greatest ads with young people asking their parents not to vote for McCain. "Mom and Dad do it for me, vote for Obama" now that's cool.
And did u see the turnout at the Obama St. Louis rally yesterday? It was so huge it was scary - estimated 100,000 people - largest Obama rally ever in the USA. Can u imagine being in the now at that rally and enjoying each and every moment! I keep saying if enough of u go out and vote for Obama there is no way McCain can win.....Remember it is not all over, do not watch the polls, remember lots of people who are saying Obama in public when push comes to shove on election day will still be voting for the white man........Just keep repeating LANDSLIDE.....

Did u see the woman who called Obama an Arab and John Mc Cain took the mike from her and said "he is not, he is a decent family man" etc.........Does he realize that since Mrs.Palin stirred up this hornet's nest that people who know him well says they can`t believe he would have been a party to this low form of campaigning. BUT WHAT CAUSED HIM TO FALL IN LINE with the GOP? FEAR..... What caused that old lady to start calling Obama all kind of things he is not .......FEAR.... False Evidence Appearing Real..........Don`t take it on...and here as we approach the finish line, not only approach it but see it - I'm seeing MY PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA DEAD !
Can u imagine ? ME ? ME, who just wrote the blog on having faith, me who is the one calming all my friends fears and now i`m seeing him gone..... Realizing that he is going to win i see him falling prey to extremists. I let something that i saw on TV some time back come to the front of my brain..they interviewed some psychics and they all said they saw him winning but not being inaugurated, what did that mean ? I took it to mean that they killed him before January......Why is it that with all the strength i claim i have, i still succumb to this ? FEAR!

The love these two share is palpable. It is so nice to see at the top , people who are not only in love but showing it. The two presently in the White House may have love within the family i`m sure but u don`t see or feel it....Everyone likes her, hates him.
The Oliver Stone movie coming out next week ' W ' is going to show just how much love and other things were going on in that family.......And why he (GW) is the person he is today.It looks like a MUST WATCH!
But back to the now, i honestly believe that we are all going to be better off in the long run.
People who have suffered a crisis before be it health or financial, may be they were raped or had some other crime committed against them, maybe their house burnt down and they lost everything, these people know how to survive . We have all been living this materialistic life, did u really believe all these people could continue living the big life while we work so hard but continue getting poorer. Things had to come to bump.
Gone are the 40`s and 50`s when it was all about giving and knowing your neighbour , now it's who can build the biggest mac mansion , have the flashiest car , women carrying us$5000 handbags and wearing us$700 shoes when those figures can feed several families, several times over.
We are so caught up in greed, that we just continue feeding the panic by reading and listening to people who are predicting breadlines.......Hello !! U shouldn`t be eating bread anyway especially white bread, too much mucus so that's a good thing not a bad thing that u can`t afford it.......I know its corny but just as how we are what we eat, what we feed our mind with is what we experience, our reality! Just face it life as we know it has changed, but it's affecting everyone the rich and the poor and those of us that have a little cash are going to start buying and 40 years down the road they will be the new Rockefellers and Trumps.
STOP FEEDING FEAR AND THOSE OF US LIKE ME WHO ARE CONSCIOUS OF IT NEED TO ADDRESS IT IMMEDIATELY AND STAY IN THE NOW !

My husband always cusses me for being on the edge financially , never having big enough savings so he says i have no cushion.........Well this is one time i am happy to take the cussing as i have nothing to lose. Everyone seems to have lost their cushion.....They are walking around in a panic....So depressed.
We are all now in the same position, maybe they are a little worse off than me as they believe they are poor, I have always known I`m rich as my riches don`t come from the bank. ALL THE BANKS CAN FOLD.........
I HAVE FAITH. That means that although it might look bleak and rainy where i am, THE SUN WILL COME OUT JUST LIKE IT DOES EVERYDAY SOMEWHERE ON THE EARTH. I just need to BELIEVE it's right here right NOW!

HEALTHY -THE ONLY WAY TO BE

I am so tired of watching people being sick, sick, sick and not realizing it's their diet...One of my work colleagues is so sick and he doesn`t realize the 1 pound of bacon he eats EVERY MORNING OF LIFE IS WHAT IS KILLING HIM. You see it in his face, full of oil and blackheads. You see it in the fact that he is having excruciating back pain..I wish he would believe and just give eating properly and coming off all that cured meat, give health, a chance ....I watched Dr. Sheyrl Chung (a Jamaican food scientist who just happens to be the wife of Earl Chung who cured himself of cancer 14 years ago using food) this morning on TV and she was so full of life and the 2 girls interviewing her, who were more than half her age, were looking at her in amazement.
They told her that nothing that's good for u tastes good....I beg to differ.......Just as how she begged to differ.
We need to get over the thought that the bland vegetable eating that most vegetarians do with pumpkin and yam and some callaloo cooked down together with maybe a boil plantain and 2 pieces of chocho is healthy eating..first of all not everything that's good for U is good for ME..and there is a scientific way to eat from your fruit in the morning to your meal at night, and white cabbage and iceberg lettuce are not greens by any stretch of the imagination but u can mix it in your greens with things like spinach and pak choy(the green part please not the white) but do not eat it by itself and say u have eaten greens........
Dr.Chung told us about not using sugar instead using cane juice to sweeten. She also spoke about using coconut oil not the processed one with emulsifiers in it, rather we are to use the extra virgin cold-pressed coconut oil.....she talked about how it helps all viruses especially the number 1 big boy Aids.......it was so interesting and informative.
U always hear the food scientists talking about the pie chart that we should eat 50% green, 35% yellow and 15% red.....not only go for colours, go for raw too, u will be amazed how different u will feel and how all the diseases like diabetes and high blood pressure etc. will clear up.It's not as hard as u think and NEVER be without cayenne pepper, a kick of health i like to call it. You also shouldn't be so depressed over the state of the world as remember where u are is perfectly fine. See what is happening as only good, those people who begged $85m to bail them out and when they got it, went to a US$1000 per night hotel to have a retreat and had US$25,000 spa treatments have nothing to do with u. That is just showing u why the world is in the pickle it is in now and what is happening is all good as the world realigns itself. Life does have a way of catching up with you, leave them to it, just concentrate on YOU and KNOW that ALL IS WELL.

Speaking of 'The View' if Rosie was still there she would have killed that Hasselbeck woman by now.
We KNOW we are to live in the now and we try but when we are bombarded with the negativity a lot of us cave in instead of just dismissing it as the stupidness it is.
I also read that some stores will be closing as the market they cater to has NO DISCRETIONARY INCOME at all........
Safeway is in trouble, Gap is closing 85 stores.....but look on the other side - Apple is opening new stores and still has lines of people waiting to buy an iphone...all is not lost.
We needed to readjust anyway. Our waste following in America`s footsteps has reached mind-boggling levels.

What about asking your guests to give a cheque to the children's hospital instead ?

TINA FEY FOR PRESIDENT

I have been so pleased with Katie Couric getting her ratings up with those sensational interviews with Madame Palin. Well Palin said on Fox news that Katie annoyed her...The lady says Katie set her up royally she was damned if she did damned if she didn`t...Really Ms.Palin u can`t answer a simple question like naming another supreme court case besides Roe vs Wade just like how u answered no questions asked in the debate and then u do the blame game...come on !!
She said very early on in the debate that she would not be answering the questions how the moderator or Biden expected them to be answered she will be talking to the people...Sarah we the people KNOW u don`t have the answers.....In fact notice the network she went on after the debate to SPIN STRAW INTO GOLD LIKE RUMPELSTILTSKIN.....FOX of course.
Just hearing her mispronounce the word NUCLEAR was enough for me. Too much of 'no one home' we can`t take it for another 4 years.
'There u go Joe pointing backwards again........dog gone it'..... wow! PALINISMS I THINK IT'S CALLED...or as Maureen Dowd so aptly put it today in her column , "Sarah's Pompon Palaver" ....And u were wondering why she went to so many colleges weren`t you ? Hope your questions have been answered.
'Dog gone it' if u Mrs Palin are a heart attack away from the Presidency of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA......that thought alone should make McCain lose the election.
Biden was so gracious to this nut, even when he knew she was mispronouncing names , he didn`t point it out. He just smiled.......
Then question - does Tina Fey make your Saturday nights or what? Thank u Tina. In Jamaica we say we 'tek bad tings mek laugh'. Do u notice she doesn`t need to write the material she just takes it straight from the lady herself. As in last night's SNL sketch of the Palin/Biden debate
Another thing i get from Ms. Palin besides her being great fodder for comedy is she wants to be president in 2012 and if she has to throw John McCain to the wolves to do that SO BE IT!

I have Jamaican friends that are American citizens that have voted already and are very worried as they said their vote was placed in an envelope and placed where???IN THE GARBAGE ?? They didn`t see where it went. They are very, very worried.

30 days raw sent diabetes packing

Back to what this blog is all about - eating properly to have a good quality of life. Have u seen the feature on CNN about Angela Stokes losing more than half of herself after going on a raw vegan diet ? Then there was an experiment done with 6 diabetics. They were put on raw food for 30 days at The Tree of Life in Arizona and a year and a half later still no sign of diabetes (click here to watch the movie - Simply Raw ) ...One of the women even said she wants doctors to know about it and went to her doctor who congratulated her on how she looked but instead of saying he would put what she did into practice he said he wished he could move his patients to Arizona........Guess the drug companies' pull is still too strong.
Now and always if u don`t have a MD behind your name no one wants to listen to u.....
Sometimes you need to go with your gut (no pun intended). I watch people just following their doctors blindly asking no questions, hello it's your life....U are going to die and leave your doctor right here....Listen and watch....there is another way..Try it!
Remember doctors treat symptoms not root causes....Yes when u reach the ER they are the ones to help u, but why did u reach the ER? Taking blood pressure, diabetes and sinus drugs for the rest of your life is not helping the problem it's just covering up the problem.
LOOK AT WHAT U R PUTTING IN YOUR MOUTH.
If u ate raw for 30 days and got healed....why not try that before going on drugs ?
U mean eating vegetables and fruit instead of hamburgers and bacon is that hard ?
