Awrighty then confusion time. My favourite bwoy just sent me his '5 worst foods you can eat' and all i have to say is if i follow this i might as well stop eating as there will be no enjoyment of life......
Now he`s telling me no cayenne pepper , no spices ???? Please Lord...Can`t manage that. I know we not to eat seafood and cheese and that is hard enough to do, but no flavours now ? Come on!
Then not even a day later here comes a doctor who had a brain tumour and he says the opposite-where spices are concerned, Cancer food cures. All i`m trying to tell u is there are different schools of thought about this food thing , they agree in some things but some people are stricter than some......Do what is good for u....I think if u eat according to your blood type, and put more raw food into your daily food intake , NO PROCESSED FOODS PLEASE, u can`t go wrong.
My son has a little girlfriend who has asthma ,every night he was taking her to the hospital. I said to him "what does she eat?" surely enough, it was a diet of Pringles and Doritos and lollipops.......With Kentucky Fry as the dinner.......So i told him as a raw food chef that was looking bad on him . Well he put her on raw food and that was 4 mths ago and 'knock wood' no new attacks.
If u are sick the pie chart of raw food should go from 80% to 100%,(80% is maintainance) but what is becoming very very clear is...... FOOD IS THE HEALING DRUG OF THE FUTURE.

68 and standing , sorry dancing..... in 3 1/2 inch Christian Laboutin heels......I LOVE IT!
WHAT WAS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HER BACK UP DANCERS AND SINGERS AND HER ? DECADES....DID IT SHOW ? I DON`T THINK SO.
A show to remember, Jamaicans well represented as usual at the show in Miami. I notice how she spaced out her 2 hour show, 1 hour then 1/2 hour break then the last hour, her next show (in the same area)3 days later - well planned out for a 68 year old fireball...Eating right with lots of water and chanting also helps. Not to mention her nearly 2 decades younger man. Nothing like young people around to make u maintain your youth.
Lots to learn from u Ms. Tina.
No fuddy duddy show for Ms. Tina.........fireworks and all kinds of pyrotechnics and equipment trusting her out into the audience.....I also love how although she is still wearing mini skirts she doesn`t look inappropriate.
She also has wrinkles...Cher has none, in fact Cher's face is unmoveable u don`t know if she talking or smiling...... Tina's lifestyle works, why do we not try to emulate it? By 68 one should know how to dress, know what to eat, and know how to pace yourself.
No woman with a cigarette in one hand and a drink in the other looks and behaves like Tina Turner.

I couldn`t even recognize the place ..it all looked alike.....DEAD!

INAUGURAL.SENATE.GOV
THIS IS THE ONLY PLACE U R TO GET TICKETS FOR JAN 20TH.
Tickets are being sold on average for US$13,000 but they go as high as US$20,000 this is for something that should be free.
Then if u call to check out a hotel..... The average room night is $1000.
Everyone trying to make a buck and squeezing out the middle class and poor people as usual. This is HISTORY! People, can we stop trying to make big bucks on everything ?
Just like how i predicted a landslide i predict that hundreds of thousands will find themselves there and back at minimal cost, backpacks and all.....What that will do to the infrastructure God knows, but be there they will. I`m only reminding them how cold it normally is but this movement has such divine intervention maybe it will be a sunny day in the 70`s...NOT IMPOSSIBLE!
The thing that amuses, amazes, thrills me watching as the guard changes is how real these people are. Date night continues in the open no special room, children are dropped at school by dad.......I think Washington is in for a reality check.
DON`T EVER STOP MR. AND MRS. OBAMA........Its time we have real people to look up to. Aren`t we tired of these oil tycoons and blue-bloods. Bill and Hilary started off real, sex scandal and all but quickly got acclimatized.......Now they ARE WASHINGTON.
Let's hope these bright, black people stay the course.
It's so wonderful to hear the first family has arrived and see this colourful crew come into view........Do u realize from his suit and tie, to the children and the missus, their clothes were all colour coordinated on election night...Yep red and black it was. I think we are going to have a fun time watching.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME
There is nothing as wonderful as hearing your 2 year 8 mth old granddaughter sing happy birthday to you on your birthday. After her stirring rendition done once on phone and once on web-cam she turned to her father (on the web-cam) and said "Papa is that your mother?" '"yes Naiyah my mother your grandmother"......did we understand such things at that age ?
It must be the prenatal vitamins.......
So another year came and went with Obama as the birthday present and promise of lots of sacrifices to come....For me to have lived to see this has just been icing on the cake.
The no-drama Obama has already shifted mode with the appointment of Mr. Emmanuel as his chief of staff....he takes no prisoners, gets the job done. Should make for interesting watching.
I also like the fact today the President-elect reminded everybody that he`s not President yet...It's like they expect him to throw out Bush(who`s that?) before January and be responsible for everything immediately.
Come on guys CHANGE WE HAVE TO WAIT ON.........
This birthday also made me realize how lucky i have been being born in Jamaica ,always a first class citizen, never having to sit at the back of the bus ,the entire bus was mine...'MLK' with Soledad O'Brien is must see TV for those of us who need to know why black people in the USA are now preparing to walk, ride, drive or fly to the inauguration.
For a man who was beaten half to death(John Lewis) to sit and watch this is just mind boggling. Talk about a front row seat.
So back to the real world and me being another year older and looking good but not feeling good..Is it the return of the dragon ? That question always first on your mind especially as i`ve been so complacent of late. Glyco down to one time per day.....Greens when i get around to it....Eating tomatoes and coconut when i know that it's not for my blood type.....Stress, stress and too much stress at work......What can i say? Easier said than done. U fight to stay alive, but what is life without quality? And i was telling a friend recently i need somewhere to go with a friend where there is food i can eat ,not sit and eat lettuce and drink cranberry juice and lime.
I look at the picture of me in NYAM JAMAICA with my big plate of stew peas with the fattiest pigs tail in the world, and i look a picture of health, 2 weeks later i was in hospital. So i don`t take everybody telling me how fabulous i am looking as a barometer on my health.
It means the tests start again next week.
It means that those of us with the genes prone to this thing need not ease up for a minute, not even a second. THE FIGHT NEVER ENDS.

BARACK OBAMA HAS BEEN DECLARED THE NEXT PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES
BARACK OBAMA HAS BEEN DECLARED THE NEXT PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA .....HEARING THOSE WORDS COMING OVER MY TELEVISION ALTHOUGH I KNEW IT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN I BENT OVER HOLDING MY HEAD AND BURST INTO TEARS.
My stomach still has not settled, i don`t know if it's my lack of intestines or what, but the bathroom has been my friend since last night and my face looks like that of a woman who cried all night because her husband didn`t come home.......
Did u see how calm he was last night ? I understand he wanted no fireworks , it was a sobering moment not a 'la la' party time.
As i looked on , at the man with the weight of the WORLD on his shoulders, it dawned on me that young black men now have a role model, no longer do they have to aspire to be a DRUG DON or a RAPPER with their pants around their knees and their wealth hanging around their necks or in their mouths...They too can be President one day. I understand in Atlanta the young men who days ago were the hooligans terrorising people on the streets turned into model young men , pushing wheelchairs and holding places in line for old people...Proves to me they are the way they are because they don`t know any better.
U know Bill Maher once said on his show that he can`t find anything to joke about with Obama . He even sleeps with only his wife so he`s boring , not funny........
If all u can find to laugh about is his big ears it's not worth it...there are too many things that are so right. I swear even McCain is a fan if truth be told.
How many of us realize that people of my age have gone from seeing people of our colour hosed for being on the wrong side of the road, being lynched for being born in the wrong state, to seeing the first true African American (African father/American mother)becoming the Leader of the Free World.
I understand people in Atlanta were eating chili last night while they were watching as that's his favourite meal, or they think it is, as they see him eat it during the campaign. They don`t think maybe it's the easiest thing for a man who doesn`t eat junk food to eat while he is on the road..........I love it, they are going to be many more things they do to emulate him and it won`t hurt, it will only help.
Was Jessie Jackson`s tears last night due to thinking back on his ill timed words ? We know why Oprah was emotional , she was there at the start of the train ride in fact she identified the passenger of the train as a winner and put her money where her mouth was....To see it come to fruition must be almost too much to take...People from states like Mississippi must be unable to even wrap their heads around it.
The fun now starts.... the long uphill climb to bring back a country to its rightful standing in the world with people representing all the way.
My guess is that if u can run a campaign like that where no stone was left unturned, u must be able to harness the energies of the people WHO DID THAT FOR THEIR COUNTRY. Plus people - what a first lady Americans are going to have......Harvard educated ! Can`t go too wrong with that.

A CHANGE WE BELIEVED IN
TODAY IS THE DAY THE LORD HAS MADE LET US REJOICE AND BE GLAD.
How many of us ever thought we would live to see this ? Can u imagine black people in the south, can u feel their tears ? Look at people react to this man.
What a day !! what an 18 months really !!!
I am just overwhelmed.......Who would have thunk it? Once i heard Pennsylvania went to Barack i knew it was all over.........
They just said that out of the white people that said race was a problem with them voting for Obama , 30% of them still voted for him....can u imagine ? They are that upset with the Republicans.
I JUST CALLED THE ELECTION AT 9:30pm .......Once we have Pennsylvania and Ohio its all over!
All the small states McCain can have....He has lost!
Didn`t i tell u months ago it would be a landslide?
I have a friend drinking wine from Pennsylvania was called. I am looking on the TV at the streets of New York and Chicago....A CHANGE WE CAN BELIEVE IN...Yes we believed him , every time he spoke we believed him and i think he is going to unite the World not only America....I think we are going to stop the excess. This meltdown is showing us we don`t need half of what we have.....As he said we need to share the wealth we cannot have 2 houses and 3 cars and a closet full of clothes that still have the price tag on them, while people sleep under bridges...Just can`t work. I heard an announcer saying Warren Buffet is ONLY worth 48 BILLION now...Wow how sad......He is one billionaire who shows that u don`t need it as he lives a simple life and gives away a lot of it but he is still worth 48 Billion........
We need more like him and not the so called 'stars' like Kimora Simmons who shows her closet with hundreds of Louis Vuitton bags. She is the # 1 purchaser of Louis Vuitton luggage/bags in the world.
What a claim to fame !!
Things like that have to change. Little girls need to aspire to give back and to help not to being the # 1 customer of Louis...How many bags can u carry at once ?
I hope the people who voted for change can deal with it when it comes as trust me it's coming......
I want to tell u once Toot died Jamaicans said it was all over as some said 'IM HAVE GOOD DUPPY PON IM" that means he has a spirit watching out for him so he must win.......
Major shock speaking of duppies .......Louisiana voted for McCain after what happened to them in New Orleans under Bush's watch!!

VOTE FOR A KINDER GENTLER NATION
What was that i just heard roaring by.........Was that a helicopter going to bomb Syria? Tell me - is that to give a war to McCain the warmonger or is it to make life hard for Obama.......
Did i just hear a drone bombing Pakistan? Mr. Bush after all this time u just realize u should have gone after the Taliban?
My Christian friends say they are not worried as they know the Lord is coming for his world and all this that is happening has been prophesied so they knew it would happen....well as i don`t believe that anybody coming for me in a chariot of fire to burn me up or send me to heaven or hell, i need this world to stay fine as i have to live in it till i make my transition to my next place of abode. So i need a quieter, gentler nation leading the free world as when America sneezes we catch cold.
They say the media is biased , I feel otherwise........journalists are normally sensible people so they must lean towards the person giving hope and talking sense.
I look at the news and know that if Obama loses on Tuesday, people are going to be so disheartened , but black people would have won anyway. Never could u believe that we would ever have reached this far, so let us give thanks .Yes it would be disappointing but America will get what they deserve , what they want, we will just hang on for the wild ride and hope we survive. Listening to Mrs. Palin being punked by a Canadian radio station proves to me that America would have lost their collective minds to vote for a team with her in it.......Sarkozy indeed!
But that doesn`t have to be our reality...........PEOPLE GO OUT AND VOTE, let nothing stop u. Not rain, not cold, not the long wait (10 HOURS IN GWINNETT COUNTY) come prepared....
The rest of the world is waiting, let us give them a leader. America needs to be loved and not hated.
America needs to be the country that does good as it used to and not thought of as the evil empire.
McCain has a lot to offer but not in the capacity of President, Palin needs to take her brood and go back to Alaska. Did u see when the photographers descended on Barack Obama when he took his daughters trick or treating and he said "guys I`m asking" DID U SEE THEM BACK OFF ? THEY DID.
The bad vibes need to end, LOVE is always the healing of a nation. Respect gets respect.
On Wednesday it will either be a new day or business as usual.......Americans,you make the choice, MOST IMPORTANT CHOICE YOU WILL EVER MAKE.
