THINGS AND TIMES

I rest my case ...read about the fight over the cost of blasting us with nuclear energy see NY Times article....great way to start the year. Seems as if some people r really wondering if the money wouldn`t be better spent on alternate treatments like GLYCONUTRIENTS instead of these expensive horrific treatments.
I have been talking to a lot of cancer patients over the season and one thing i found that all of us have in common,THOSE THAT HAVE MADE IT SO FAR, is 2 or 3 rounds of chemo instead of 10 or 12............. is there something in burning out the bad cells and immediately starting things like glyco nutrients which help u to grow healthy cells? Seems as if that needs more research come 2008.
Those of u who r at home this Christmas doing nothing but watching TV, please count during your programmes how many times an ad. for a drug company comes on...whether lipitor, advil whatever, just count and realize that they r marketing themselves into our hearts and souls with us not even being aware of it and in 2008 do something about it........ here is a humourous take on the matter and a not so humourous one.
Another thing that came to me during my end of year thoughts, how much music is important to the state of the nation. The anger in most of our Jamaican musicians translates to the anger in the young people and peaceful music really calms the soul...they say classical music playing in the background while babies sleep improve their brain power and i can believe that.........
I also notice that Bob Marley has stood the test of time with his message music.
Cindy Breakspare and her son JR. GONG trying to put a little discipline in us by giving us quality shows that start on the dot of 9p.m. and finish exactly at 2a.m.
Taurus Riley trying to make women feel good about themselves with She's Royal , hope he succeeds......Beres trying to take us to another level with his "ONE MOMENT IN TIME".Hope he gets the support.
Will VYBZ CARTEL be around in 2015?And will his music be remembered for anything positive....My younger son put 14 tracks on my computer and going through them before deleting I noticed all fourteen if they didn`t start with GUN it started with PU...(expletive) What a great message for our young people! How will they be any better if thats all they listen to.......?
We need to start at ground zero with our children if Jamaica is to be any better, and in 2008 we need our DJ`S who r such role models to buy into the future.
We cannot have our young people knowing nothing about dancing with each other ...go to any "young people" party. They dance back to front, not face to face and its sad to watch the women belittling themselves....if a romantic ballad came on they wouldn`t know what to do with it......oh for the days of "rent a tile".......
Am i really that old?
I GUESS THINGS AND TIMES THEY REALLY DO CHANGE.....................
