Wellness Teams

I have come to the conclusion that just as how people go to their doctors ( general practitioners )and they refer u to the specialist......A neurosurgeon, gynaecologist etc., the wellness community needs to have a team of wellness specialists e.g. if u go to a massage therapist and she finds something she should send u to a chiropractor......the reflexologist might send u on to a holistic practitioner. The wellness world has nutritionists and food scientists etc. so there is always a team of people to look after u, just like how u schedule your gynae twice a year, u should go to your holistic practitioner regularly to make sure your meridians are flowing and everything is on track. What's the draw back?
Because of a scarcity mindset (always around) they knock each other and hog everything instead of passing it on.........The massage therapist says 'let me rub this knot out for u' when they know u need realignment and they can`t help u.....The reflexologist bucks up on a blockage and doesn`t recommend the holistic practitioner, and on and on.
Real crab in the barrel, but guess what ? I`m sure that the medical doctors didn`t work harmoniously from day one, I`m sure the GP`s were delivering babies in fact some still are and won`t send the people who don`t know better to the obstetricians so what don`t happen in a year will happen in a day and they will soon start working together....The raw food people will realize that some foods are better eaten cooked and not think they are superior to vegans and the nutritionists will stop saying u can use sugar to sweeten all your drinks.
Some of the websites are crossing over and Dr. Oz is certainly showing us that wellness is the name of the game while not alienating his colleagues.
My feeling is that everything in time. Just as how we are now realizing we need to grow our own food and eliminate all garbage from our diets. The wellness world will soon get it together as if they don`t we are the ones that will suffer.
Have u noticed that one of the most sought after professions in this time of doom and gloom (when people are losing their jobs) are nurses....WHY do u think that is?
